If you’re of fan of Somali-Canadian rapper K’naan and just so happen to also be intimately following the campaign of Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, then you may have noticed that after Romney’s victory speech after winning the Florida primary he made use of K’naan’s popular anthemic song “Wavin’ Flag”.
However, the use of the song was not approved by the rapper beforehand which justifiably infuriated the artist leading him to tweet his indignation with the Romney campaign, and further saying that he would not have granted permission to Romney even if asked.
The Romney campaign has since said that it would no longer use K’naan’s song during their campaign.
What made Romney think K’naan would ever…?
Yes K’naan!!!

You go, K’naan!
Like I wonder what crossed Romney’s mind when he thought that using his song without permission would be okay…
